Summary:
The Annual Campaign Coordinator leads the planning, implementation and monitoring of the agency’s Annual Fund Campaign, which includes all appeals, contracted Direct Mail, and donor stewardship & cultivation of donors under the $1,000 major donor level. This position is integral to moving donors to a higher level in the fundraising pyramid. The Annual Campaign Coordinator also manages the Raiser’s Edge database.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will include: Responsible for leading the planning, implementation and monitoring of all annual fund programs and activities to acquire, develop and steward a base of approximately 9,000 active donors. Understands Moves Management principles and embraces “donor centered fundraising”; works with Development staff to create strategies and approaches to increase the under $1,000 level of giving; write annual fund appeals; coordinate large scale direct mail effort with outside contractor; coordinate cultivation and solicitation system and track status of key prospects who have the potential to become major donors; manage the Raiser’s Edge donor database, including preparing files for mailings, reporting on revenue and pledges, determine all coding for consistent and accurate records, reconciling with controller, and backing up data; manage all workplace giving campaigns, including holiday giving, applying for the campaigns, tracking matching gifts, and coordinating speaking engagements; ensure that staff and volunteers using Raiser’s Edge are properly trained; back-up to Development Associate in processing and acknowledging all donations in a timely manner; support annual breakfast, Soiree, and other development events as assigned; oversee day-to-day workflow of Data Entry Specialists; other duties as necessary and assigned.

The Successful Candidate will have the following minimum qualifications. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:
1. BA/BS. Four (4) additional years of highly related experience may be substituted for the degree.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in Administrative support (five or more years experience)
3. Minimum 1 year experience in Resource Development required
4. Demonstrated proficiency in Raiser’s Edge or other relational Development database. Certification preferred
5. Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite.
6. Must be dynamic, detail-oriented, highly organized, a quick learner, able to juggle multiple tasks, activities and duties
7. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, comfort with publicly representing agency
8. Must support and be able to represent the mission and goals of Senior Services
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and have a tactful, mature, and sincere attitude
10. Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
11. Ability to work independently.
12. Must have valid Washington Driver’s License and access to an insured vehicle.
